This course explores how fashion can make people feel seen, respected, and included. We look at how clothing and representation shape identity, culture, and belonging and how the fashion industry has often left many communities out. Through real stories, case studies, and open conversation, students learn how inclusive fashion can support social change, celebrate diverse cultures, and challenge harmful norms.

By the end of the course, students will understand why representation matters, how to recognize cultural sensitivity in design, and how fashion can become a tool for empathy and equity. This course is ideal for anyone interested in social impact, DEI, and understanding people through the lens of what they wear.
